The contact form on this site, or LinkedIn

Messages you send

When you write through the contact form, the site keeps your name, email address and message, the page and language you wrote from, and, if you asked the assistant something first, those questions. They are stored on the site’s server and delivered to Quentin’s Slack workspace. Your email address is used only to reply to you.

Before a message reaches Slack, Claude, Anthropic’s AI, may add a short summary and a draft reply for Quentin. It sees your name and message, never your email address. Quentin reads every message and writes every reply himself.

Messages stay in the site’s database so none is lost if Slack is unreachable. Ask, and Quentin deletes yours.

The assistant

The site’s assistant answers on the site’s own server, with a small model that matches your question to written facts. Your questions are not stored, unless you then send a message.

Your browser

The site uses no cookies, no analytics and no ads. Your browser remembers the language you chose, and briefly keeps the text on screen when you switch language so it can carry it across. Fonts, images and videos all come from this site; other sites are reached only through links you follow.

Server logs

Like most web servers, this one logs each request with its IP address, the page and the browser, to keep the site working and safe. The logs are deleted after 14 days. To stop abuse, the contact form and the assistant also count recent requests from each IP address, in memory only, for up to an hour.

Where it is kept

The site runs on a server in Germany, at Hetzner. Slack and Anthropic are companies in the United States and handle what they receive under their own privacy policies. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone else.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete what you sent, write through the contact form or on LinkedIn. If this page changes, the date above changes too.
